Japan Rail Modelers has been very honored to be apart of the Sakura Matsuri for the last decade. We have tens of thousands of the public come by the layout each year. Its a wonderful outreach for us to a very wide spectrum of the public. Displaying the layout next to JR East and JR Central is also a wonderful experience and has lead to our attending other events with JR East. Come and join us for this great event!
The Sakura Matsuri is organized by the Japan-America Society of Washington DC, which is a nonprofit,
nonpartisan educational and cultural organization for individuals
and corporations with an interest in Japan and US-Japan
relations.
